Use milk, or a plant-based substitute if you prefer, and with a good blender simply blitz with some Maltesers for a malted drink with a lot of oomph. Swap in malt extract, dairy-free ice cream and vegan-friendly biscuits if you’re cutting out dairy.
Prep time: 5 minutes
- About 120g Maltesers
- 350ml whole milk
- 6 scoops of vanilla or chocolate ice cream
- Pulse the Maltesers to a fine crumb in a blender (keep a few whole or roughly crushed ones for a garnish, if you like).
- Add the milk and ice cream, and blend until the mixture is completely smooth and frothy.
- Serve in tall glasses, with Maltesers on top if you have reserved some.
