Chocolate Maltesers milkshake recipe 

Use milk, or a plant-based substitute if you prefer, and with 
a good blender simply blitz with some Maltesers for a malted drink with a lot of oomph. Swap in malt extract, dairy-free ice cream and vegan-friendly biscuits if you’re cutting out dairy.

Prep time: 5 minutes 




  • About 120g Maltesers
  • 350ml whole milk
  • 6 scoops of vanilla or chocolate ice cream


  1. Pulse the Maltesers to a fine crumb in a blender (keep a few whole or roughly crushed ones for a garnish, if you like).
  2. Add the milk and ice cream, and blend until the mixture is completely smooth 
and frothy.
  3. Serve in tall glasses, with Maltesers on top if you have reserved some.
